Lars Oliver Bialek’s background lies in the hotel and tourism industry. Not least because of this, his approach is based on service orientation, a hands-on pragmatism, and excellent people skills. His first career steps in the international hotel industry were with Steigenberger Hotels & Resorts, Le Méridien and the Walt Disney World Corporation in Orlando, Florida. Thereafter, Lars switched sides and worked as a HR Consultant in the Hospitality Business, where he was responsible for the recruitment and assessment of specialists and executives.
At Kienbaum Management Consultants in Düsseldorf, Lars Oliver Bialek extended his scope to other branches as well. In particular, he was involved in the development of innovative strategies for HR recruiting and retention, as well as in diagnostics and assessment. Here he designed and managed both individual and group assessments. He also created career development analysis and was responsible for the subsequent coaching sessions.
Further stages of Lars Oliver Bialek’s career were HR development in today’s Stellantis N.V. Automotive Group (formerly PSA S.A.) and HR executive management as Director Human Resources of the HRS Group worldwide. In this role, the strategic and functional projects to be named in particular are as follows: Employer Branding and the development of a career portal, design of a program for junior executives on a global level, Compensation & Benefits strategies and Restructuring.
In addition to setting up and optimizing all HR processes, he also managed the successful integration of 450 hotel.de AG employees into the HRS Group. Most recently, Lars Oliver Bialek was Corporate Director at Groupe Yves Rocher, where he was responsible for HR activities in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
At Pedeva, his focus is on human resources diagnostic processes for strategic employee development, innovative solutions in recruiting, and the implementation of new work models and concepts. In the context of digitalization, he supports the implementation of customized programs that sustainably improve the effectiveness of HR.
