Sandra Calderón has been singing for as long as she can remember. Already as a child she discovered how to enchant people with her voice and gave her debut at the prestigious Carnegie Hall at the age of 12.
Born in Cologne, she studied voice at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna before moving to New York for further training. Following a vocal crisis, Sandra has dealt intensively with the various aspects of vocal technique and the careful use of the voice.
In addition to her active career as an opera singer, Sandra works regularly with Creative Media Design in New York as a voice-over artist for German and English. Among others, she lent her voice to the cat Gwendolyn in the movie “The Fearless Four” (Warner Bros.).
Sandra Calderón is a passionate educator. She taught on-camera acting at New York’s Weist-Baron Drama School, where she prepared young actors and singers for film and television auditions. Since her return to Germany, she has been teaching master classes for singing at the Christophorus Gymnasium in Altensteig and is a lecturer at the Cologne Music Academy.
