Silvia Maleen is an actress, lecturer in Meisner Technique and trainer.

Growing up in the Austrian countryside, already as a child she was fascinated by slipping into different roles and telling their stories. After starting her studies foreign languages, she quickly realized that she lacked the playful element. In the same year she was engaged at the Vienna Theater in der Josefstadt. Subsequently she was a member of the cast at the Stadttheater Regensburg and the Apollotheater Siegen. Although since 2008 her main focus has been on acting in front of the camera, she still enjoys to play on various stages such as the Fritz Rémond Theater in Frankfurt.

She appeared in over 500 episodes in the role of Jennifer Steinkamp in the RTL series „Everything that counts“, as well as in various TV formats such as „Das Traumschiff“, „Alarm für Cobra 11“ or „Die Rosenheim Cops“.

Already in the early years of her career, the Meisner technique had a decisive impact on her work as an actress. In 2015 she started passing on her experience to aspiring actors and started teaching professional actors in the Meisner technique.

She loves to work actively with people on creative processes, promoting personal development playfully and in a fun way.

Silvia is married, is the mother of a son, and lives with her family in the Bergisches Land near Cologne.
